- What file types can I scan?
- JPG, PNG, and SVG images are supported, along with PDF documents. PDFs are rendered page by page and scanned, so a multi-page ticket batch or artwork proof can be handled in one upload.
- Is scanning a QR code here safer than using my phone?
- It is a safer way to inspect an unknown code. Decoding happens locally in your browser, the decoded content is displayed as text, and no link is ever opened for you. That lets you read the destination URL before deciding whether to visit it — unlike a phone camera, which often jumps straight to the link.
- Are my images uploaded anywhere?
- No. Recognition runs entirely in your browser and there is no upload step, so the files stay on your computer. QR codes containing personal or internal data are never transmitted.
- Why can't my QR code be read?
- Common causes are low resolution, blur, low contrast between the code and its background, a missing quiet zone around the edges, a logo covering too much of the centre, or the code being partially cropped. Rescanning at a higher resolution, or exporting the original artwork instead of a screenshot, usually resolves it.
- Can it read many QR codes at once?
- Yes. Add as many files as you need and each is decoded in turn, with one row per result. If a single image contains several QR codes, each is reported separately.
- How do I export what was decoded?
- Copy all decoded values with one click, or export to Excel for editing and analysis, or to TXT when you need a simple portable list.
- Do I need to pay or register?
- No. The QR code scanner is free and requires no account, and because decoding is local there is no per-scan server quota.
